Program: AWTHS 10th Year Anniversary
“The Founding of Arcanum Wayne Trail Historical Society”
March 25, 2004 an exploratory meeting was held to discuss forming a historical society. On our 10th anniversary some of those who attended that first meeting will share details of the planning, the purchase of the “house”, as well as the renewing and refurbishing of the 1894 building now home to AWTHS. Keith and Carolyn Furlong, Bill Gunder, JoAnne Hill, and Fred and Carolyn Troutwine will discuss those first years. Guests will include Glynn Marsh and Sue Cummings of the Randolph Township Historical Society. Glynn and Sue were very helpful during that organizational period sharing what they learned when organizing their historical society.
Come ask those questions you’ve always wanted to know and find out where we go from here.
Join us March 13th at 7:00 as we begin a year of celebrating our 10th anniversary.
